Today, I am getting straight to the point- God has given us ownership of so many things that we have yet to claim possession. I first learned about this issue last week from a devotional Bible study, and my heart has not been able to contain its excitement since!

A major part of the American Dream is being able to own property and have something to call our own. Many have traveled from all over the world to live within the Land of the Free in pursuit of the happiness that is perceived to be here. In fact, my mother was one of those very people who left her motherland in order to be free and find financial peace. America has so many opportunities for betterment and growth that ownership is a very real possibility for many. Yet despite the perceived ease of ownership, there is extreme difficulty in gaining possession of that which God has already declared as ours.
