After acknowledging my severe pain, I realized that it was time for a change. Putting aside everything that I knew, I woke up on Sunday, November 13, 2016 and declared that I would never eat meat, dairy, or fish again. It's been 2 HARD years on this journey that I didn't ask for, but it's been 2 years trusting God. Yes, I lost 147 pounds during this time, but I gained a deeper relationship with God and a healthier lifestyle. Per my fb post last night, please don't see this post and think this has been easy- because it has NOT been. I'm in pain right now because my body changes and rejects a lot of things (plus I try to eat things that I know my body can't tolerate anymore). But I smile and my heart overflows with joy because when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all He's done for me....
